Our Lady’s Messages
The Batavia Visionary has said that Our Lady’s first words to her on September 1, 1991 were, Protect the children. Our Lady has devoted many of her messages to our children and has pleaded with the mothers of the world over and over to protect them.
In a special note from the Batavia Visionary on October 7, 2004 she says, Our Lady stated that her appearance at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center on August 31, 1999, would be her last public appearance there, as it was the Will of the Father. She did say, however, that others would be able to see her there privately – if they sought her out with a pure intention of heart. It was also possible for some with a pure heart to see Jesus there, if they carried a true faith within their spirit. She said the healing of body and spirit would continue there as long as the people accepted the graces offered them by the Father. She said she would be sending messages through me whenever necessary for her children and also for certain individuals, which she continues to do even to this day.
In this regard, there were no public messages from Our Lady on August 31, 2000, August 31, 2001 or August 31, 2002. She did send a message to Fr. Smith on June 5, 2003, and requested it be handed out to the crowd at Our Lady of the holy Spirit Center on the eve of August 31, 2003. …(Personal Revelations, Vol. 5, p. 7)
Here are some of the messages from the four volumes of Personal Revelations of Our Lady of Light Vol. I – V, available through the Publications link on this website.
The messages presented on this website have been discerned by five ordained Catholic priests, two of them with doctorates in theology. These priests have determined that there is nothing potentially harmful to the faithful in reading the messages. As in all private revelations, the matter of accepting or rejecting message content is up to the reader. Our Lady of Light Ministries hopes that you will find this site and its messages uplifting and conducive to an enriched prayer life and that you will now be better able to appreciate the work Our Lady does on our behalf.
Authority of the Church
Upon the approval of Pope Paul VI, on October 14, 1966, with the abolition of previous Canons 1399 and 2318 of the former Canonical Code, publications about new appearances, revelations, prophecies, miracles, etc., have been allowed to be distributed and read by the faithful without the express permission of the Church, providing they contain nothing which contravenes faith and morals. This means that no Imprimatur is necessary when distributing information on new apparitions not yet judged by the Church. (Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith, S.A.S. 58 1186.
